Collage is a technique of an art production, which are primarily being used in fields of Visual Arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new picture.

The term „Collage“ itself were first being introduced by both Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso in the beginning of the 20th century when collage became a distinctive part of modern art.

The technique of collage itself has been around before the 20th Century, its first used was in China around 200 BC in the invention of paper.

However this technique has evolved immensely. This medium has been used in painting by such artist as Pablo Picasso, as being mentioned above.

This cutting and pasting way of visualisation is also a way for designers to create their mood boards.
